Included: Tempered glass, a set of 4 types of silicon carbide sanding discs (80, 230, 400, 600 grit), 5 silicone feet.

The alignment glass is a high-strength material. This strength is achieved during production by heating the glass to a liquid state at a temperature of approximately 900 degrees Celsius. It is then cooled with a jet of air, which causes stress to build up in the material and alters its structure. The glass has uniform hardness across its entire surface. Both sides of the glass can be used for work. The glass has chamfered edges and rounded corners. It features non-slip feet.

Designed for aligning diamond bars, preparing for work (revitalizing), and aligning synthetic and natural stones.

It is not recommended to use different powders on the same glass surface.

Not intended for sharpening or dressing the cutting edges of knives and tools.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 300 mm.

Thickness: 10 mm

Weight: 1,744 grams.

Handle with care; do not subject to impact.

Additionally, depending on the type of set, the package includes silicon carbide grinding grit in various grit sizes. The set of silicon carbide powders allows you to level most abrasive stones. Each powder is packaged in an individual jar.

The color of the abrasive powder may vary from greenish to dark gray. This is not a defect and does not affect performance.

Grit sizes in the set:

F80 — 80 grit, for coarse stones

F230 — 230 grit, for medium-coarse stones

F400 — 400 grit, for pre-finishing stones

F600 — 600 grit, for finishing stones

Instructions:

1. Use a marker to draw a grid on the abrasive stone so you can monitor the leveling results.

2. Sprinkle a small amount of silicon carbide powder of the required grit size (see table below) onto the glass; this set includes 4 types of silicon carbide powder.

3. Add a little water, and move the stone across the glass surface in a figure-eight motion, applying light pressure.

4. Add water as needed; do not allow the mixture to dry out or form a “plasticine-like” paste.

5. At the end of the process, remove the chamfers from the abrasive stone using the remaining paste.
